Sustainability

green for all weathers

Nature Coast Enterprise is supportive of any business wanting to become more sustainable in its approach to social, environmental and economic actions.  We were fortunate to have funding from the Ministry for the Environment Sustainable Management Fund to develop the Sustainable Business Self-Assessment Tool for use by Kapiti and Horowhenua businesses.

Being sustainable involves keeping an eye to the future.  The goal is to meet our needs today, while leaving our resources in a good state for future generations.  A sustainable business considers the environment and people, alongside its own financial sustainability.  Many businesses discover that these key elements work together in a complimentary way.  In other words, looking after your people can really benefit the bottomline too.
